My fantasy creature

Mrs P told us to write a story about the fantasy creature we drew. Here is my writing.

One day, when I was strolling across the muddy bank of a creek full of life, a meteor came speeding towards me. I hid behind a fallen log to dodge the meteor. Dirt raised into the air when it made a hole in the ground. It took about twenty minutes for the dirt to settle. I went to investigate and found an egg stuck to it. I then freed the egg by smashing the meteor into pieces with a five ton hammer. Then somehow the egg hatched and a baby dragon appeared. It was a girl dragon. I named her Ironscale. Her horn was still weak and was protected by a layer of skin. She had golden scales that shone in the sun. Her claws and teeth were white as snow. A puff of smoke appeared when she was trying to breathe fire. Tiny spikes were protecting her by standing on neck, back and tail. She stared at me as if I was an alien. Now she started to wriggle, jumped of my palms and ran off. Soon she came back with two rabbit in her jaws. I smiled and got my hunting knife. Grabbed the rabbits, skinned them then cooked them. I ate one and the dragon ate one.

Hi Marshall! Great blog! How big was the dragon when it hatched out of the egg? Your story is very artistic. Keep up the great work! :D

    Interesting Marshall.

All of it is good. What I don’t understand is this sentence.” Soon she came back with two RABBIT in her jaws”. Does this story continue on?

    Hey

Pretty lucky the meteor didn’t kill you huh? I think you did a great job at describing the dragon; I can imagine her in my head. What did the rabbit taste like?
