Mrs P told us to write a story about the fantasy creature we drew. Here is my writing.
One day, when I was strolling across the muddy bank of a creek full of life, a meteor came speeding towards me. I hid behind a fallen log to dodge the meteor. Dirt raised into the air when it made a hole in the ground. It took about twenty minutes for the dirt to settle. I went to investigate and found an egg stuck to it. I then freed the egg by smashing the meteor into pieces with a five ton hammer. Then somehow the egg hatched and a baby dragon appeared. It was a girl dragon. I named her Ironscale. Her horn was still weak and was protected by a layer of skin. She had golden scales that shone in the sun. Her claws and teeth were white as snow. A puff of smoke appeared when she was trying to breathe fire. Tiny spikes were protecting her by standing on neck, back and tail. She stared at me as if I was an alien. Now she started to wriggle, jumped of my palms and ran off. Soon she came back with two rabbit in her jaws. I smiled and got my hunting knife. Grabbed the rabbits, skinned them then cooked them. I ate one and the dragon ate one.
